During your walking city tour of Gdanskyou shouldn’t miss seeing a great example of a Renaissance burgess house. It is situated on the Long Market just a few steps from the Green Gate. The Golden House has a richly decorated façade and legend says that what we see today was intended to be the rear façade.
If you pass by the Golden House in the late evening you may hear the voice of the most prominent inhabitant of that house Judyta Speymann (from the Bahr family). She would say “Act justly, fear no one”.
