A visit to Artus Court in Gdansk
All Gdansk tour guides will tell you that Artus Court in Gdansk is a must-see. The first court dedicated to King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table was held here in XIV century. For centuries it was a meeting place for rich merchants and patriciates. Due to its exclusivity (and high prices!) it was called the most expensive pub on the Baltic Sea.
Now inside we can see the largest Renaissance stove in Europe with its richly decorated 520 tiles, a gothic sculpture of St. George fighting with the dragon and many other pieces of art.
Now The Artus Court serves as a representative room for important guests visiting Gdansk.

The sight is on the tour:  The Gdansk city tour and Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia in one day
Entrance fees to Artus Court in Gdansk: regular ticket 10 PLN, discount ticket 5 PLN
